About Us

Community Transformation Alliance (CTA) is a national Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Tanzania, established in 2022 and registered under the NGO Act No. 24 of 2002 with Registration No. ooNGO/R/4536. Authorized to operate across Tanzania Mainland, CTA was founded by seasoned development professionals with over 20 years of experience leading impactful programs in the education, protection, and community development sectors.

Born from a shared commitment to placing communities at the center of development, CTA serves as a unified platform for driving sustainable, locally-led solutions. Leveraging strong networks with government, civil society, and policy influencers, we work to address critical challenges through collaboration, empowerment, and innovation. Our head office is located in Dar es Salaam, with a field office in Nanyumbu District, Mtwara Region.
