About Us

Community Transformation Alliance (CTA) is a national Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Tanzania, established in 2022 and registered under the NGO Act No. 24 of 2002 with Registration No. 00NGO/R/4536. Authorized to operate across Tanzania Mainland, CTA was founded by seasoned development professionals with over 20 years of experience leading impactful programs in education, protection, and community development.

Born from a shared commitment to placing communities at the center of development, CTA serves as a platform for advancing sustainable, locally led solutions that address pressing social challenges. The organization works across key thematic areas including education and literacy, child protection, youth and women’s empowerment, and environmental sustainability.
Through community mobilization, capacity building, advocacy, and strategic partnerships with government and civil society actors, CTA empowers communities to design and implement solutions that improve livelihoods and promote social inclusion.
